Ahead of the Capital Jingle Bell Ball 2022, RecordedbyRachel founder Rachel Kelly approached Seven Blue Pixels to assist her with her client, who just so happened to be rising popstar Mimi Webb.

Mimi and her team wanted stage graphics that visualised the concept of being trapped in a relationship, even when she's out of it. Immediately we knew that the best way for us to visualise this was through a maze. 

 

Bear with us here! What better way to convey the idea of being trapped than by showing a maze.​

Although the project wasn’t without its technical challenges, Seven Blue Pixels put their problem solving hat on and ended up using Blender as we found that the Eevee render engine gave us a gorgeous glow that we knew would look amazing behind Mimi on those massive screens.

 

We were able to watch the live show and the end product was visually stunning, if we don’t say so ourselves! And from the feedback we got from Mimi and her team, she was equally impressed too!
